We are pleased to announce the release of our new documentation!
It comes with a new look-and-feel and a better navigation interface. The search feature is faster now. And in the next releases, we will be adding more fine-grained controls such as whole-word match and fuzzy search. More to come!
HOOPS Communicator 2023 is based on HOOPS Visualize 2023, HOOPS Exchange 2023, and HOOPS Publish 2023.
Enhancements
Asynchronous workflows. HOOPS Communicator now supports workflows to asynchronously load measurement data into the viewer.
glTF extentions. Conversion and rendering of glTF Clearcoat extension in Physically Based Rendering.
Snapping measurements. Measurements now snap on cutting sections in the viewer.
Color set and unset. The function setNodesColors() now (optionally) applies to points.
Transparent backgrounds. Transparent backgrounds now available when using hidden line drawing mode.
VS2019. Visual Studio 2019 is now supported.
Microsoft Edge support. Microsoft Edge is now supported on Linux.
jszip flaw resolution. Resolution of CVE-2021-23413 where crafting a new zip file with filenames set to Object prototype values (e.g __proto__, toString, etc) results in a returned object with a modified prototype instance.
